2. The service
MSGConverter provides free browser-based tools that read Outlook .msg files and convert them to other formats, together with a viewer, a batch mode and a repair report. The service is offered as-is, without any charge and without any account.
We may add, change, limit, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. Individual tools may be marked as unavailable while they are being worked on.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the tools for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You must have the right to read and convert the files you process, and you are responsible for complying with any confidentiality, employment, or data-protection obligations that apply to that content.
You must not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities in a way that degrades it for others, scrape it at a volume that burdens the host, or use it to process material that is illegal to possess.
4. No warranty
The .msg format is complex and inconsistently produced by different versions of Outlook. We make no promise that any given file will convert, that a conversion will be complete or byte-faithful, or that formatting, embedded objects, encodings and attachments will always survive the round trip.
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
5. Keep your originals, and check the output
Always keep the original .msg file until you have opened the converted result and confirmed it contains what you expect. Do not use this site as your only copy of anything.
If a conversion will be used as evidence, filed with a regulator, or relied on in any legal or medical or financial decision, verify the output independently. This is a convenience tool, not a certified archiving or forensic product.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, nor for any loss of data, profit, business, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the site — including from an incomplete or failed conversion.
7. Third-party content and advertising
Pages on this site carry advertising served by Google AdSense and may link to third-party websites. We do not control adverts or linked sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. 8. Intellectual property
The site's name, design, text and code belong to their respective owners and may not be copied wholesale without permission. Your files and their contents remain entirely yours — we acquire no rights in them, not least because we never receive them.
